DAY 23: There are so many angles to think about when self-publishing: there's the writing, or course, and the design of the book (what size and shape? illustrations? does the cover accurately represent the story?). But there's also promotion and marketing, networking, reaching out and connecting with people, both in-person and online. I can't tell if I'm being methodical or random in my approach . . . I just make sure I do at least one little thing each day. One little thing to make the website better, get the story right, familiarize people with my name. Today, my accomplishment was very small: I confirmed my bank account with PayPal by entering the amount of two small deposits. But see, with that tiny detail taken care of, I can start to build my bookstore page.
